From the spy photo, the interior of the new MINI COUNTRYMAN is covered by camouflage thickly, but it can still be seen that a lot of information can be seen, the iconic circular center console of the MINI model has been retained, and the size of the central control screen is expected to be further increased. Buttons that resemble airplane levers at the bottom of the screen have also been retained, and the number has been reduced.
The new MINI COUNTRYMAN will be built on the same platform as the new generation of BMW X1, and from the previously exposed spy photos, the new car will use the latest design to highlight the muscular feeling. Although covered in camouflage, some details can still be seen, such as the slender design of the front grille and the circular design of the headlights.
Since it is built on the same platform as the BMW X1, the body size will be improved to a certain extent, and it is expected that the length of the vehicle will be increased by at least 200mm, bringing further improvements to the interior space. However, judging from the wheel gallery on the side, the new car will still adopt the line style of the MINI brand.
In terms of power, the new car is expected to be equipped with the same powertrain of bmw X1, equipped with a fuel engine and a plug-in hybrid system. Pure electric models may also be launched in the later stage.
