The Aisin 8AT transmission is smooth and smart, passing the 100km test drive test smoothly, and cleverly hiding itself in the stop-and-go congested road. NORMAL mode tends to upshift, keeping the speed in the economic zone. In addition, with the dual blessing of this gearbox and idle start-stop technology, the vehicle has a lower lock-up speed and a softer start at rest.

In terms of chassis, the new CS75PLUS adopts front McPherson independent suspension + rear multi-link independent suspension, and the structure and materials are familiar with the taste. Chassis tuning focuses on comfort, the damping of the shock absorber is weak, the suspension compression amplitude is large, which is convenient for better handling of fine vibrations, and it is not stiff when rolling over the speed reduction belt. Normal mode steering feel is lighter, the torque with the speed gain linear, in line with the low speed light, high speed calm standards. The small angle in the central area is not tight enough, and the steering torque changes with the angle is too flat, and the communication with the front wheel is slightly out of touch. The steering feel of the SPORT mode is overall heavier and the tightness is also improved.
NVH performance has reached the proper level, no vibration is transmitted to the pedal and steering wheel when idling, and the control of engine noise, wind noise and tire noise during driving is also worthy of recognition.
The ADAS performance is stable, the IACC+ full-speed intelligent cruise system is easy to open, and the dashboard and HUD display information synchronously, which is very intuitive. The rhythm of following the car is not hurried, and there is no regret in the experience except that the distance is too large and easy to be plugged. Lane keeping can fix the vehicle in the center of the lane with a moderate correction frequency.
The 1.5T is not a "virtual whale", the 8AT is properly matched, and the first duet performance of the two is undoubtedly a success. In the future, if we can get access to 1.5T test drive, we will conduct fuel consumption tests to see how the 8AT will affect fuel economy.
