Of course, in addition to reducing energy consumption, car companies are also trying to achieve environmental protection effects through the use of clean energy replacement and other measures.

In order to make the production link more low-carbon, many car companies often buy green energy such as wind energy and solar energy. Today, under the "double carbon" target, the price of green electricity has risen. The same is true of Chery Jaguar Land Rover Changshu, which has built a rooftop photovoltaic project with an area of more than 50,000 square meters on the roof of the engine plant to produce green energy, and can also support the engine plant to produce 60% to 70% of the electricity consumption in day shifts.

As a concrete carrier of green factory condensation, low-carbon products prove the concept and original intention of low-carbon environmental protection of car companies, and also harvest gratifying results in the actual use process. The total carbon emissions of the cars delivered by Xiaopeng Motors in 2020 have been reduced by 5,520 tons; the nearly 100,000 cars delivered by WM have reduced carbon dioxide emissions by about 640,000 tons, which is equivalent to cultivating a 60,000-hectare forest. These figures prove that every electric vehicle on the road is contributing to the promotion of the ESG concept.

Green and low-carbon is not only an all-round and systematic big project, but also a small insistence of "moisturizing and silent". Whether it is the macro design concept in industrial design, or the implementation of small links, or the carbon reduction of products in the landing stage, it can be seen that car companies have implemented the concepts of green and environmental protection in all aspects.
