Motorola announced last week that its next Edge smartphone will be unveiled on February 24 and will launch the Edge 30 Pro in the United States this month, according to foreign media phonearena. Originally launched in China as the Edge X30 Pro, Motorola's U.S. flagship may differ slightly in terms of specs and software.

First, Motorola's Edge 30 Pro, like its Chinese counterpart, will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. In addition, the flagship will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging capabilities. The powerful processor will be combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, but there won't be a card slot for memory expansion.

In terms of screen, the report mentions that the Edge 30 Pro will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Another selling point of the Edge 30 Pro is the 50-megapixel main camera, paired with a 50-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is expected to run on Android 12, but the information, like many of the details in the report, has yet to be confirmed. In addition, according to the leaked pictures, the phone will be available in two colors: black and silver.
