In September last year, the Shanghai Oriental Art Center went against tradition and announced the 2021/22 performance season of "Chunhua Qiushi" for half a year. As the "fruitful" autumn and winter chapters come to an end, everyone's eyes are once again focused on the spring and summer chapters of the performance season.
Coinciding with the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival, on the afternoon of February 15, the Shanghai Oriental Art Center specially released the "menu" of the spring and summer performance season, and 73 performances on 49 stations were born in early spring and February.
This performance season revolves around the four major sections of "The Sound of Spring", "Bone of the Wind", "Brilliant Stage" and "Positive Popularity", covering various programs such as classical, drama, opera, dance, cross-border and so on, continuing the diversified, youthful and branded style of Dongyi, and opening the second half of the performance season with a new look at the beginning of the Year of the Tiger.
Its Middle Eastern art brand "Listen to symphony • to the East" will join hands with domestic top conductors and performers to create brilliant achievements this season, and the popular national style cross-border performances will also bloom with unlimited possibilities.

Dongyi was once known as the "China Home" of the World Symphony Orchestra, and at the same time, Dongyi has always paid attention to the development of the power of Chinese symphony.
In this season, in addition to continuing to gather a number of symphony groups in the Yangtze River Delta, it once again helped the exchange of literature and art between Beijing and Shanghai, and invited the top symphony teams from the mainland to shanghai. Conductors have appeared one after another, and veterans and young musicians have played huazhang on the same stage.
In March, the "Symphonic Double Heroes" will open the curtain of the symphonic section of this performance.
Renowned conductor Xu Zhong, together with the Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra and famous singers Shi Yijie, Sun Yan and Xiong Yufei, brought the magnificent epic poem "Bran Poetry".
The famous conductor Lu Jia will personally lead the National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra to perform the masterpieces of the most innovative composer in the history of German-Austrian opera, Wagner, and the Czech music giant Dvořák.

In October last year, Dongyi and Century Park launched the "Topping Tide Play National Style Music Festival", which was selected as the "Annual Fashion Activity" of the 2021 "Fashion 100+" list with an attitude of outdoor music scene. In the "Bone of the Wind" section of the spring and summer performance season, Dongyi once again launched a series of national style performances to show the grand national rhyme.
The "13th Oriental Famous Artists Famous Drama Month" opened in March, jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui and Shu eight major theater troupes, drama "Hui" Oriental, focusing on Peking Opera, Kun Opera, Pingtan Opera, Huangmei Opera, Burlesque Opera, Quyi Musical, Yue Opera and other excellent plays. After the first round of national tour of the large-scale drama "The Right Way in the World is Vicissitudes" produced by Dongyi Productions at the beginning of the year, it will return to Shanghai at the end of May with the two honors of "Best Screenwriter" (Yao Yuan) and "Best Director" (Hu Zongqi) at the 5th Chinese Drama Festival.
One of the most talked about works at the first Aranya Theatre Festival, Meng Jinghui's theatrical work "Song of the Sad Cafe", adapted from McCullers's novel of the same name, was co-starred by "Queen of One-Man Theatre" Huang Xiangli and powerful actors Sun Yucheng and Wu Zhoukai, and joined hands with independent musician Zhang Weiwei to pay tribute to loneliness.

The new performance season specially creates a "positive pop" section, including a number of cross-border cooperation stages to connect games, literature, variety shows and other multiple visions, enjoy the "cross-border" fun with the heart of "no boundary", and establish a cool and pioneering dialogue and exchange with young audiences.
Following Hans Zimmer and Howard Shaw, internationally renowned composer and conductor Tan Dun was invited to customize the skin of the "Five Tiger Generals" series of national mobile games "Glory of kings", using five traditional Chinese ancient instruments that are almost lost in history to inject Chinese sound into the game world.
In the "Symphony Concert of the Five Tiger Admirals", Tan Dun will also create a different oriental romantic song for the first time for the five "gods of musical instruments".
