Symphony No. 1 in E minor is one of the most frequently performed symphonies in Shostakovich's 15 symphonies, chen Xieyang heard this work at a very young age, and after becoming a conductor, he personally conducted the baton in 1985 and completed the Chinese premiere of Shostakovich's Tenth Symphony. Chen Xieyang has a very deep affection for this work, and he does not hide his love for it, he once said, "To tell the truth, the Tenth Symphony is 'the triumph of human nature in the world', it is my beloved." Among Shostakovich's many film music creations, "Bullfly" contains some of the composer's most popular melodies, especially the Romantic Song, which has been widely circulated as an instrumental version. Chen Xieyang believes that Shostakovich can write both very modern musical works and works with very beautiful melodies, and the "Oxfly" suite reflects his skill.

Chen Xieyang said that he had led Su Jiao into Beijing many times before, performing special concerts at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, presenting a number of classic foreign works and outstanding ethnic works to Beijing audiences. The trip to Beijing was performed in two famous venues, the Tianqiao Art Center and the Beijing Concert Hall, "Sujiao has been established for 5 years, and this performance in Beijing is precisely through concerts to show the development achievements of the Sujiao over the past five years to all sectors of society and the audience, and sincerely accept everyone's test." As one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of the New Era Cultural And Sports Exhibition Group, in the past five years since its establishment, Sujiao has developed into an influential symphony orchestra at home and abroad.
