The dance drama "Xi Shi" takes dance as the soul and beauty as the name, showing the beauty and wisdom of Xi Shi to the world, and at the same time showing the audience Fan Li's brave loyalty, Gou Jian's forbearance and humiliation, and Zheng Dan's boldness and ease. The dance section in the play is a highlight, not only recreating the characters of a thousand years ago, but also unfolding a historical picture. Inside, the audience can get a glimpse of the rich history and feel the charm of traditional culture.

The main creator and starring lineup of this work is strong, with the famous dancer Yang Liping as the chief artistic director, the famous Chinese writer and screenwriter Feng Shuangbai as the literary consultant, and the current vice chairman of the Liaoning Dancers Association and the chief director of the Liaoning Song and Dance Troupe Wang Taorui as the chief choreographer; choreographers Zhang Zhenguo and Xu Jingxian are also outstanding young dancers in China, and the costume designer Yang Donglin and modeling designer Jia Lei have served as the costume and styling design of "Pingtan Reflection" and the 2022 CCTV Spring Festival Gala dance poetry drama "Only This Green".
