A song "Ode to the Red Flag" evoked red memories, and the fifth "CIIC Art Season" came to an end

(Xinmin Evening News reporter Zhu Yuan) The fifth "China-Chile Art Season" came to an end last night, as the closing performance, the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra led by conductor Zhang Liang brought the "Red Classic Symphony Concert" at the Shangyin Opera House, allowing the guest audience to feel the charm of music and art at the same time, look back at the glory years and inherit the red classics.

At the concert, the orchestra successively performed the orchestral overture "Ode to the Red Flag", the symphonic poem "Railway Guerrilla", the caprice "Bethune in Jinchaji", the ballet "Red Detachment of Women" excerpts, the string ensemble "Sacrifice" and many other classic works. Composer Lu Qiming, at the age of 82, and composer Chen Xinguang, together with composer Chen Xinguang, composed excerpts from the symphony "Mission" for the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as the orchestra's resident composer Gong Tianpeng's red work "Departure" overture were also played.

The "CIIC Art Season" lasted for 3 months, with a total of 15 performances, 7 stage works and 1 art exhibition, which not only covered symphonies, stage plays, dramas, dance dramas, operas, acrobatics and other performance types, but also integrated the needs of contemporary youth and added the artistic expression of talk shows and exhibitions. The season is jointly created by CIIC Shanghai and Shanghai Wenguang Performing Arts Group.
