The Silk Road-themed symphony "Eternal Oasis - Hexi Corridor" was created by the Gansu Provincial Opera House over a period of two years.
With the thousand-year history of the Hexi Corridor as the background, through the five movements of "Qilian Mountain - Our Homeland", "Sanama - Song of the Yugur People", "Ma Ta Feiyan", "Hu Yang - Remembering the Warrior" and "Eternal Oasis", the symphony focuses on the imprint left by the geographical plate of the Hexi Corridor in the historical changes with its longitudinal thoughts, solemn and hot emotions, deep and broad temperament, romantic and realistic techniques.
Since the successful premiere of the symphony "Eternal Oasis - Hexi Corridor" last year, under the organization of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, it has participated in the "One Session, One Section" Dunhuang Closing Ceremony Literary and Art Performance, the "Spring Green Longyuan" Literary and Art Exhibition, the Sixth Silk Road International Arts Festival, the Western China Symphony Week and other important performance activities, which have been widely praised by all sectors of society.
