Back to our test topic today, that is, many pure electric vehicle owners are quite concerned about the winter endurance problem. In these problems, almost all car owners believe that the impact of air conditioning on mileage in winter is a headache, after all, the power consumption of air conditioning heating is large, which in turn affects the endurance of the vehicle. However, for the AITO M5, it is to use the traditional fuel vehicle in the range extender scheme to use the engine preheating heating logic to further reduce energy consumption.
Let's briefly describe the pick-up process with you. The first pick-up time is 18:50 on the evening of January 28, when the outdoor temperature in the cold winter in the north is between 2 degrees Celsius and minus 1 degree, and the sensory temperature is between minus 6-7 degrees. From the overall data, the remaining pure electric endurance of the vehicle when taking the car is 66 kilometers. Then adjust the vehicle to pure electric priority mode, warm air to 2 gears, temperature set to 26 degrees Celsius, and continuously turn on the entertainment system, and the car is stationary. At 19:50 an hour later, the driving computer showed that there were 58 kilometers of pure electric battery life left, and the battery life was reduced by 8 kilometers during this one hour.

At 22:11 on January 28, after 2 hours and 20 minutes, the AITO Q&I M5 driving computer showed that the remaining pure electric range was 49 kilometers, at which time the outdoor temperature was minus one degree, and the body temperature was minus 8 degrees. We then stored the vehicle outdoors to test the battery performance of the AITO Q&A M5 after 24 hours of parking. According to official data, the AITO M5 will continue to keep the battery pack power stable within 24 hours of parking. When the vehicle was started at 8:11 the next day, although the outdoor temperature was minus five degrees, the body felt minus 12 degrees. However, the driving computer shows that the remaining pure electric endurance in the car is still 49 kilometers, and the performance is worthy of recognition.
Immediately after that, we started the dynamic test on January 29, we first turned on the warm air and drove 1 km in the "pure electric priority" mode, and found that the total remaining mileage was reduced by 5 km, and the remaining pure electric endurance was reduced from 49 km to 44 km. That is to say, after fully opening the winter warm car mode, the pure electric endurance will have a decline. After our testing, it can be understood that the AITO Boundary M5 is in the cold start state, the electric drive state PTC heats the cockpit and the battery pack preheats at the same time, the battery pack also acts on the drive, so from 49 km to 44 km is a reasonable range.
Although it is a reasonable state, after all, the reduction of the mileage in winter is one of the problems that we are deeply anxious about every day. According to our previous testing experience, many users at this node are just beginning to worry about the winter endurance of pure electric vehicles, and for us, on the AITO Q&A M5, this anxiety seems to be smaller.
Is the range extender charging the battery efficiently?
For consumers, one more way to replenish energy can be more convenient to use. The extended range hybrid car has not been available for a long time, but the reason why it can be accepted by consumers quickly, the "refuelable, rechargeable" energy replenishment method is a major highlight.
The Q&I M5 supports fast charging and slow charging
After 1 hour and 31 minutes, the charge was charged from 23% to 99%.
The AITO M5 is equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 40 kWh, which not only supports slow charging for home use, but also supports fast charging for DC. Looking at the data, after driving for 128 kilometers in the 3 hours and 26 minutes of driving on the city road, the average electricity consumption has dropped from 23.7 kWh/100 km to 21.8 kWh/100 km, and the average speed of the whole journey is 37 km/ h. However, when driving in this mode for 135.8 kilometers, the driving computer appears fuel consumption information, which can be judged that the range extender has been started.
What is fuel consumption in fuel priority mode?
AITO Q&I M5 has three vehicle modes, of which the fuel priority mode refers to "when the battery power is less than about 70% to start the range extender system", at this time the battery power is 21%, after adjusting to this mode, the range extender starts, how does the fuel consumption perform at this time?

After adjusting to the "fuel priority" mode, the battery power increased from 21% to 48%, but still below 70%, so the range extender was open during this journey, while the fuel consumption rose from 2 liters/100 km to 4.1 liters/100 km, and the power consumption decreased from 21 kWh/100 km to 8.6 kWh/100 km. It can be seen that with the opening of the range extender, the power consumption further decreases, and the fuel consumption increases.

Finally, after driving 115 kilometers using the "fuel priority" mode, according to the statistics of the driving computer, the driving time of 250.8 kilometers is 6 hours and 56 minutes, the average speed is 36 km / h, the electricity consumption is 5.9 kWh / 100 km, and the fuel consumption is 4.8 liters / 100 km. According to the charging fee of 1.4 yuan / kWh and the fuel cost of 7.9 yuan / liter, the total cost of the whole process is 116 yuan, equivalent to 0.46 yuan / km.
What was the driving experience?
