According to the public information, ferrari's patent reveals a design that uses multiple battery packs and sandwiches them between the chassis and the car case. The focus of the patent is to keep the chassis rigid, while also having room to install batteries. The idea was to create a frame to support the vehicle and attach it to a base that houses the battery. These parts are fixed together to form a complete structure that makes up the floor of the car.

In the figure, BT1 refers to the first battery pack and BT2 is the second battery pack. The first battery pack is under the passenger compartment, which is wide but thin, making room for passengers. Behind the passengers, the second battery pack has plenty of room to increase the height. Because of the shape of the area, the company says it can support cylindrical, prismatic or bag-shaped batteries.

The patent documents state that this setup can be used for both hybrid and pure electric vehicles. The internal combustion engine can still be installed on the front or rear of the car's battery.

On January 10 this year, Ferrari Unveiled a new corporate structure, the Italian sports car brand will be faithful to its racing DNA and focus on achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. At the same time, according to the information released by the President of Ferrari, Ferrari's first electric car will be launched in 2025.
