Recently, SAIC Roewe released a notice of price increases for new energy products, and decided to increase the official guidance prices of many of its new energy models from March 1, 2022 to cope with changes in the new energy market.

SAIC Roewe said that the global chip shortage, pushing up production costs, subsidy policies declining, affecting terminal prices, multiple force majeure factors led to an increase in product prices, but will fully guarantee the production capacity and supply of its models.
Before SAIC Roewe, a number of car companies have announced that they have announced the adjustment of vehicle prices.
1. On January 21, BYD announced that due to the sharp rise in raw material prices and the decline of new energy car purchase subsidies, the official guidance prices of BYD Dynasty and Ocean Series were raised by 1,000-7,000 yuan.

4. On January 11, Xiaopeng Automobile announced that the price of all models increased by thousands of yuan, of which the P7 series of Xiaopeng flagship sedan rose by 4300-5900 yuan, and the price after the latest subsidy was 22.42-40.99 million yuan; the new P5 series rose by 4800-5400 yuan, and the price after the latest subsidy was 1627-2293 million yuan; the SUV model G3i all series rose by 4800-5400 yuan, and the latest subsidy price was 15.46-19.32 million yuan.
5. On January 1, Nezha Automobile raised the price of its models, and the price of Nezha V, Nezha U Pro and other models increased by about 2,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan. Users who place orders at the end of 2021 and pick up cars in 2022 still enjoy the original car price, and the difference is borne by the car company.
The reasons for the price increases of these car companies are the same.
1.
