Korcyov said: "We welcome the statement issued by Beijing on Beijing's intention to participate in the implementation of the project. We intend to discuss with our Chinese partners the possibility of various forms of practical cooperation. ”
Korcyov previously pointed out that after South Korea, China has also shown interest in the Arctic station project, for example, China intends to provide equipment.
Russian media said that the "Snowflake" International Arctic Station should become a fully autonomous complex, operating on renewable energy and hydrogen, without the use of diesel. The station will consist of several dome-like buildings connected by sidewalks. From above, the buildings are arranged like snowflakes, which is where the name of the Arctic Station project comes from.
