The next generation of Need for Speed games developed by Criterion Games will launch this year, possibly in September or October. Codemasters Cheshire is made up of employees at Former Driving Club developer Evolution Studios. After Sony closed Evolution Studios in 2016, most of the studio's staff joined Codemasters, joining Codemasters' third studio.
