On October 28, the operation team of Need for Speed Online issued an announcement that due to the expiry of the agency agreement between Tencent and the developer of the Need for Speed Online game, Tencent will officially stop the operation of Need for Speed Online in Chinese mainland at 11:00 on January 27, 2022 after friendly consultation with the developer.
The announcement said that at 11:00 on October 27, 2021, the game recharge and new user registration were stopped; at 11:00 on January 27, 2022, the game operation was officially stopped, the game server was closed, and users could not log in to the game; the game's official website, forum, and exclusive customer service were closed. After the game server is shut down, all account data and character profiles in the game will be deleted.
