When she first gave birth to her son, she was also looking at her eyes and thinking about it.

This story has to start from a century ago.

Zhang Jianfang was born in January 1915, and at the age of sixteen, he married Li Zhongli of Soybean Mouth Village at the behest of his parents.

Although it is an arranged marriage, after marriage, the couple is in love and very loving. In 1935, twenty-year-old Zhang Jianfang gave birth to a daughter, adding a lot of joy to this poor but warm family.

After the July 7 Incident in 1937, Li Zhongli, a hot-blooded young man, witnessed the atrocities of the Japanese and the hypocrites, and was filled with righteous indignation, and with the support of his wife Zhang Jianfang, he signed up for the district squad. After the troops of the Eighth Route Army entered Anping, Li Zhongli followed the troops to the North China Plain, born into death, and fought heroically.

On the fourth day of the eleventh month of the lunar calendar in 1939, Zhang Jianfang gave birth to a baby boy. Six days later, it just so happened that Li Zhongli and his troops had just finished fighting and came to the village of Soybean Mouth to rest. When a villager saw that there was Li Zhongli in the queue, he shouted at him: "Your daughter-in-law has given birth to a big fat boy, and you still don't go home to see it!" ”

Li Zhongli jumped up happily, immediately asked the leader for leave, and trotted back home. However, he only saw the back of the child's head, and the troops had an urgent task, and he hurried away.

Zhang Jianfang, who was feeding her child on the kang, never expected that her husband would never come back after he left!

Since then, Zhang Jianfang has begun a long wait.

A year has passed, and there is no news; two years have passed, and there is no news. The village has successively received some letters and telegrams from those who went out to serve as soldiers, some who were safe and sound, some who received meritorious awards, and some who made heroic sacrifices... Only Li Zhongli, like a stone sinking into the sea, let alone a person, did not bring back a word or a word.

Someone advised Zhang Jianfang, don't wait, the soldiers are in chaos, maybe the children are no longer there. She smiled bitterly and shook her head.

Twelve years have passed! In 1951, she finally waited for news from her husband. On that day, the village cadre accompanied a township cadre to Zhang Jianfang's house and sent him a martyr's certificate and a pension of one hundred and eighty yuan. The visitors told them the news that Li Zhongli had died, and comforted her that in the future, the family would be treated as martyrs, and any difficulties could be reported to the government at any time.

Seeing the martyr's certificate, Zhang Jianfang trembled and burst into tears. That night, she cried all night. Later, she inquired about the place where her husband was buried, but she never got her wish. Qingshan buried loyal bones everywhere, and in the bloody and rainy war years, it was difficult to return to their hometown after sacrifice, and even the bones of martyrs were thousands!

The village built a tomb for the martyr Li Zhongli and erected a tombstone.

In her later years, Zhang Jianfang received the care and care of the party and the government, and lived a life full of children and grandchildren, with no worries about food and clothing.

In 2019, Zhang Jianfang walked through 104 years of ups and downs, and passed away with the thought of her husband - she can finally stay with her lover forever without waiting.

In Anping, there are many stories like this about the birth and death of the revolution and the separation of husband and wife.

The 89-year-old Wang Xiuchen still has an embroidered skirt that his father Wang Renqing gave to his mother.

In May 1942, when the devils were at their craziest, Wang Renqing realized that he could be sacrificed at any time, and one day, he said to his wife: "Keep this dress, don't sell it, and make a thought in the future." A few days later, Wang Renqing was unfortunately arrested by the devils, tortured to the end, resolutely refused to tell the list of underground parties, and died in prison.

At that time, Wang Xiuchen was only 10 years old, and when her mother saw the bloody clothes sent by her husband before his death, she fainted on the spot. Later, life in the family became more and more difficult, Wang Xiuzhan's brother was seriously ill, and her mother sold all her belongings, leaving only this dress.
