Beijing, February 10 (China News Network) -- On the occasion of the beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games events in full swing, the popular science book "The Great Wall of Beijing" Chinese, English and French editions, which aims to promote the integration of traditional Chinese culture and Olympic culture, was first released in Beijing on the afternoon of the 10th.

The Chinese, English and French editions of The Great Wall of Beijing are jointly researched, compiled, translated and published by the Beijing International Urban Development Research Institute, the Beijing International Urban Cultural Exchange Foundation, the French EDP Publishing House, and supported and guided by the Organizing Committee of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, highlighting the cultural characteristics of "using the Great Wall culture as a medium to connect the Chinese cultural spirit and the common spirit of mankind".
Lian Yuming, editor-in-chief of The Great Wall of Beijing, president of the Beijing International Urban Development Research Institute, and chairman of the Beijing International Urban Cultural Exchange Foundation, introduced at the launch ceremony of the new book that "The Great Wall of Beijing" is a popular science book that tells the culture of the Great Wall in a global context, a historical context and a future context for the world, and with the concept of "mutual learning among civilizations and the beauty of each other", it reveals the wisdom of the excellent traditional Chinese culture represented by the Great Wall culture to contribute to the world, and explains the beauty of the Great Wall in multiple languages in Chinese, English and French.
