Musk wrote in a tweet wednesday.
The tweet was a moment of frank reflection on the world's richest man, Musk.
Tesla first delivered the Model X electric car in September 2015 after working to perfect the Eagle Wing Door design, and last fall, Tesla unveiled a new Model X electric car.
In December 2020, Tesla suspended production of its original model as it prepared to launch a new Model X, which Musk said was a stupid decision and the effects of which still haunt Tesla today.
Tesla said in its latest financial report that total production of the Model X and Model S in 2021 is down 55% from previous years, and these models accounted for only 2.6% of the company's total car production last year.
