Although Delta Electronics claimed that the attack did not affect its core production systems, a reporter has obtained a copy of an internal incident report showing that Delta Electronics' 1,500 servers and 12,000 computers have been encrypted by the attackers, affecting about 20.8% of the affected devices, and the attackers have demanded a ransom of $15 million (about 95.4 million yuan).

Because Delta Electronics is currently the mainstream SUPPLIER of UPS solutions and supplies power components to companies such as Apple and Tesla. It is unclear whether the attack will have an impact on its customers' product offerings. Delta Electronics said that the company has detected the attack at the first time, and its security team intervened, took measures against the infected system, and began to resume operations. At the same time, the company is working with Trend Micro and Microsoft to minimize losses.

At present, Delta Electronics' official website has resumed normal access, and it is not clear whether it has paid the ransom.
