Located in Jinshan District, Fengjing Ancient Town is surrounded by water networks, and there are as many as 52 bridges in the town area, and the oldest surviving one is the Yuan Dynasty Zhihe Bridge, which has a history of nearly 700 years. The organizer invited artists to conduct in-depth research and dedication to 16 ancient towns in Shanghai, and submitted more than 300 works, of which 72 were selected by the Shanghai Creative Design Workers Association to be exhibited in the public area of Fengjing Ancient Town. The exhibition is divided into three sections: non-genetic inheritance, landscape architecture, and humanistic customs, and uses creative images and public art to record the inheritance and integration of the handicraft skills of one of the "intangible cultural heritage representatives" in this land. In the video works, the protagonists of the ancient town include the bustling street merchants, the natives of the ancient town who are comfortable and comfortable, and the folk activities with deep roots, all of which reflect people's yearning and desire for the simple lifestyle of the ancient town.

The exhibition does not have a specific exhibition hall, but regards the ancient town as a whole as an "art museum", so that the ancient town lantern festival and the exhibition design are integrated, and the ancient town architectural space is integrated with video art. People strolling on the green brick path will encounter these works, which breaks the traditional venue restrictions that have been solidified in the past, and enters the ancient town space and the residents' life, making the exhibition more relaxed and free.

In addition to showing the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage, the development experience of folk culture in the ancient town has also been hooked. The exhibition will end on March 31 at South Street, Fengjing Ancient Town, Jinshan District, Shanghai (including the Dequan Pavilion exhibition area). It is reported that after that, the exhibition will tour the major ancient towns in Shanghai, and combine local characteristics to carry out more in-depth artistic creation.
