On February 10, GAC Trumpchi's new GA6 was launched at the Yichang plant, with a total of three models launched in the series, with an official price of 108,880-146,800 yuan, and the GAC Yichang plant also ushered in the 100,000th car off the production line. The new car is positioned as a mid-level sedan, from the GAC G-CPMA platform, as a modified model, the new GA6 is more stylish in detail, the configuration level has also been improved, and the whole series will be equipped with a 1.5T engine.

In terms of styling design, GAC Trumpchi's new GA6 adopts the family design language of Trumpchi brand "Light and Shadow Sculpture 3.0", and the front face design of the Lingyun wing composed of a large area of chrome grille is matched with the redesigned dot matrix LED headlight group on both sides, and the entire front of the car gives people a more atmospheric feeling.
The line outline of the body side has not changed much, it is very regular, the proportions are coordinated, it is a very stable mid-level sedan, in terms of size, the new GA6 has a length, width and height of 4891/1850/1505mm, and a wheelbase of 2815mm.
The rear design of the car also generally follows the style of the current model, but also the style of calm and atmospheric, the through-type taillights are still more in line with the trend of the times, in addition, the listed model also added a "Haoyue gray" appearance color for consumers to choose.
The interior part, the change in the overall shape is not large, the overall conforms to the appearance of a mid-level car, the steering wheel style has been adjusted, the dual screen design can be retained, and in terms of configuration, the new car can achieve L2 level automatic driving, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise, integrated cruise system, traffic congestion assistance, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, fully automatic parking, etc. In addition, matrix LED headlights, panoramic sunroofs, 32 colors + 8 levels of brightness intelligent atmosphere lights, in-car air automatic control system + PM2.5 sensors, blind spot monitoring, etc. will also appear on the new car.
In the power part, trumpchi's new GA6 series is equipped with a 1.5T direct injection engine, the maximum power is 124kW/5000rpm, the peak torque is 265N·m/1700-4000rpm, and the transmission will be equipped with a 6AT transmission from Aisin.
