Moya stone carvings have a long history, are widely distributed, have precious historical and artistic value, and some are also listed as world cultural heritage.
There are many cliff carvings at the site of the Gushan Society, which have been exposed to the natural environment for a long time, resulting in problems such as weathering and color peeling. Xiling Seal Society is a national key cultural relics protection unit, with the purpose of "preserving the golden stone, studying printing, and combining calligraphy and painting", is the art group at home and abroad that studies the longest history, the highest achievement, and the most extensive international influence on printing, calligraphy and painting, and the relevant cultural relics protection responsibilities are specifically undertaken by the Social Affairs Committee of Xiling Seal Society.

The specific repair requirements are as follows:

2. The font color design of the rock of the moya stone carved cultural relics body is designed and colored;
3. Repair of cracks and breaks in the inscription of Moya stone, anti-seepage and waterproof treatment of fonts;
4. Moya stone inscription crack grouting and waterproof sealing treatment and so on.
"From the video, they are depicting the characters for the purpose of protecting and displaying the rock carvings on the cliffs." Li Xinfang, director of the Cultural Relics Protection and Archaeology Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, told the Qianjiang Evening News and Hourly News reporter that there is nothing wrong with the work of protecting the xianzi itself.

Zhejiang Province is one of the main distribution provinces of the mainland grotto temples and Moya statues, especially the Buddhist statues excavated by the five generations of Wu Yueguo regimes around the West Lake in Hangzhou, which is another small climax in the southeast region after the peak of the Northern Dynasty and Sui and Tang Dynasty grotto statue art. This special investigation approved a total of 87 cave temples and cliff statues excavated before 1911, including 11 national key cultural relics protection units, 11 provincial cultural relics protection units, and 16 newly discovered. In the next step, on the basis of the results of this special investigation, we will carry out research on topics related to cave temples, sort out and publish books such as "Complete Collection of Grotto Statues in Zhejiang Province", hold exhibitions related to cave temples, and promote the protection and utilization of cave temples in the province.
