The exhibition invited Guangdong painters Chen Jinzhang, Liang Shixiong, Chen Yongjun, Fang Chuxiong, Hong Kong painter Li Ming, Macao painter Ye Quan, Taiwanese painter Fang Rongcheng and other famous Chinese painters to jointly exhibit nearly 40 Chinese paintings in honor of Mr. Chen Shuren, the master of the Lingnan School. The gathering of famous works from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is not only a grand event in the painting world since the New Year in 2022, but also highlights the spiritual appeal of Mr. Chen Shuren's lifelong struggle for the pursuit of peace and well-being of the Chinese nation. The opening ceremony also invited compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to conduct cultural exchanges and spend the New Year together.

Ye Quan, vice chairman of the Macao Education Culture and Art Association, honorary president of the Guangzhou Calligraphy and Painting Art Appreciation and Exchange Society, and vice president of the Guangzhou Chinese Painting Society, said that the Lingnan School of Painting is also very popular in Macao, Which is a city that combines East and West, although it is deeply influenced by Portuguese and British culture, but chinese traditional culture is deeply rooted in Macao.
