In 1898, the year of the Pengshu Reform, Wang Bu was born, Wang Bu's father was a blue and white magic hand during the Tongzhi Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, but when he was six years old, his father died of illness.
At the age of nine, Wang Bu, with the support of relatives and friends, worshiped Xu Yousheng as a teacher, studied qinghua, and later entered the "Chen Ji Qianshun" porcelain factory to work.

In the porcelain workshop, Wang Bu painted a large number of slag tire porcelain, using the most concise brushwork to quickly paint on the slag embryo, year after year, he realized the pen follower. Five years later, Wang Bu was full of apprentices, his wings were gradually enriched, he pre-spread his wings and flew high, but unexpectedly the factory where he was located closed, Wang Bu lost his job, and began to make a living by painting bird food cans.
In 1919, Wang Bu was appreciated by the famous ceramicist Wu Xiasheng and joined the "Porcelain Industry Research Society" as a producer of antique porcelain. Wu Yisheng sponsored Wang Bu to go to the Forbidden City in Beijing to study the famous kilns of the Ming and Qing dynasties day and night, laying a solid foundation for the innovation of the ancient masters in the future.
