On February 7, the reporter learned from the Traffic Management Bureau of the Autonomous Region Public Security Department that the number of motor vehicles and motor vehicle drivers in our region have increased significantly in 2021, with the number of motor vehicles exceeding 2 million and the number of motor vehicle drivers exceeding 2.47 million.
As of December 2021, the number of motor vehicles in the region reached 2.02 million, an increase of 7.81% year-on-year, 1.49 percentage points higher than the national average, of which 1.85 million were cars; more than 2.47 million were motor vehicle drivers, including 2.4 million car drivers. In 2021, there will be 149,000 newly registered motor vehicles in the region, an increase of 9,187 vehicles year-on-year, an increase of 6.53%, and 150,000 newly licensed drivers.
The number of vehicles in Yinchuan exceeded 1 million
As of December 2021, the number of vehicles in the region reached 1.8537 million units, an increase of 138,800 units over 2020, an increase of 8.09%.
Among them, Yinchuan has 1,090,800 car owners, becoming one of the 79 cities with more than one million cars in the country, and one of the 9 cities that will add "millions" in 2021.
During the same period, there were 134,500 newly registered cars in the region, an increase of 8,101 units over 2020, an increase of 6.4%; of which 38,700 were newly registered for trucks, 1,057 fewer than in 2020, down 2.65%.
The number of new energy vehicles exceeded 10,000, and the growth rate far exceeded the national average
As of December 2021, the number of new energy vehicles in the region reached 10,500, accounting for 0.56% of the total number of vehicles, an increase of 4,480 vehicles over 2020, an increase of 74.25%, 15 percentage points higher than the national average.
Among them, there are 7852 pure electric vehicles, accounting for 74.68% of the total number of new energy vehicles.
As of December 2021, there were 4,480 newly registered new energy vehicles in the region, accounting for 3.33% of the total number of newly registered vehicles, an increase of 3,162 vehicles compared with 2020, an increase of 239.91%, 88.3 percentage points higher than the national average.
The number of car transfer registrations continues to grow
As of December 2021, of the total 237,500 motor vehicle transfer registration business, 227,500 were automobile transfer registration business, accounting for 95.79%.
In the past five years, the ratio of second-hand car transfer registration to new car registration has increased from 0.95 to 1.37, surpassing the number of new car registrations.
——With the active promotion of policies such as the cancellation of the "relocation restriction" of used cars and the registration of used car off-site transactions, the second-hand car trading market has become increasingly active.
The number of motor vehicle drivers exceeds 2.47 million
As of December 2021, the number of motor vehicle drivers in the region reached 2.4742 million, of which 2.4024 million were car drivers, accounting for 97.09% of the total number of drivers.
In 2021, the number of newly licensed drivers (driving experience less than 1 year) in the whole region reached 156,300, accounting for 6.32% of the total number of motor vehicle drivers in the country, 0.6 percentage points higher than the national average, and an increase of 19,500 over 2020, an increase of 14.31%.
From the perspective of driver gender, male drivers reached 1.6937 million, accounting for 68.45%; female drivers 780,500, accounting for 31.55%.
From the perspective of driver age, 1.7952 million drivers aged 26 to 50, accounting for 72.55%, and 371,900 drivers between 51 and 60 years old, accounting for 15.03%.
"All-weather, non-closing, online handling" handling service matters more than 3.62 million times.
——The public security traffic management department of the whole region has carried out in-depth practice activities on the theme of "I do practical things for the masses", implemented the "365 days×24 hours" all-weather, non-closing service model in 5 municipal and 6 county-level vehicle management offices, and handled 54,216 on-site transactions on holidays and non-working hours (from 17:00 on the same day to 9:00 the next day), accounting for 27.8% of the business volume of the public security government service window in the whole district;
——Relying on the traffic management 12123 mobile APP to handle vehicle and driver's license related business 3.5669 million times, an increase of 1.6133 million times over 2020, an increase of 82.58%, 47.41 percentage points higher than the national average, solving the problem of the masses " no time to go to work, nowhere to do after work" blocking pain points.
——Among them, 861973 applications for electronic driver's licenses were reviewed and approved, accounting for 24.16%;
——198,100 people conducted online full score examination and education, accounting for 5.55%;
