Microsoft began testing new Windows 11 features or offering personalized desktop stickers

Some time ago, Microsoft introduced a test plan for Windows 11 in 2022. In the future, Microsoft will push new features more widely to testers, including some experimental features of Windows 11, in order to get more improved experiences from them. Of course, some features may not end up in the official push update.

Recently, some netizens have shared several new features of Windows 11 online, including personalized desktop stickers and automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode, but Microsoft has not yet made it public. Microsoft is currently preparing for the first major update to Windows 11, and the first users are expected to receive pushes this month, not knowing if these features will be on top of it.

Personalized desktop stickers are an interesting feature that users can make their own stickers using a new sticker editor and add them to their desktop wallpapers and can be edited on the desktop. It is not clear what the stickers are doing, but it is rumored that the Office team is involved. Microsoft is currently pushing Windows 11 SE to new low-cost laptops used by students, which may be part of Windows 11 SE or may also appear in the version of Windows 11 that is mainly for ordinary users.

Microsoft has avoided most of the traditional tablet mode features in Windows 11, but Microsoft has accumulated a large number of gesture operations and system display mode designs in the canceled Windows 10X project and dual-screen tablet device plans. Automatically hiding the taskbar in tablet mode may be a return, and more functions and operations suitable for tablets may be introduced in the future.
