The U.S. Highway Safety Administration believes that the lack of seatbelt tones is a safety risk, and Tesla must include it in the official safety recall in addition to solving the problem through software updates.

Since last December, Tesla has conducted several vehicle recalls around the world.

In January 2022, Tesla recalled 54,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to autopilot system issues, including some Model S and Model X for 2016-2022, Model 3 for 2017-2022, and Model Y for 2020-2022.
