When Xu Hun was young, he had lofty ambitions and studied hard, but his path to the imperial examination was also very unsmooth, and his experience after entering the army was also extremely bumpy. It is precisely because the poet has a lot of feelings about life that he will understand his friends who have similar encounters with him.
Wei Mingfu was a friend of the author's, who often drank and wrote poems together, and also expressed common concerns about the turbulent situation of the late Tang Dynasty. The other party was anxious because his career was blocked, so he decided to travel south to relieve his boredom. When the poet heard the news, he gave a poem to him.
The first sentence is very majestic, and friends take advantage of the wine at the feast and dance with their swords. It seems that after three rounds of drinking, he has temporarily forgotten his sorrows. Friends are intertwined, telling their hearts, and before they know it, the sky is already dark. "Looking at the Guanhe River at dusk", pointing out the time, but also explaining that the road ahead is long, and this trip will be bumpy.
The jaws of the couple wrote about each other's bumpy lives, the ups and downs of his career, and the family conditions were very tight, often sending people to the fence and traveling in detention. These two sentences are actually a true portrayal of the poet's arduous journey, and they are also vivid abbreviations for the tragic fate of many readers.
Next, the poet imagines where his friends pass along the road, and Hangu Pass and Dongting Lake are famous attractions, where the mountains may be raining and autumn may be cold. Many of Xu Hun's poetry works are clear and precise, which to a certain extent represents the development level of late Tang dynasty poetry. The poet sometimes uses the white painting technique to depict vivid scenes, but it conveys the author's true feelings; sometimes it seems that the language is plain, but if you think about it carefully, you can feel that there is a profound truth in it.
This farewell poem is eloquent, and the whole text is like flowing water and clouds, which is quite interesting as a landscape idyll. However, just as the so-called scenery language is a love language, the author euphemistically expresses his feelings about the hardships of his career between the lines.
Duan Jue is a friend of the author, and the specific life and deeds cannot be verified. Located on the outskirts of Chang'an, Duqu is the residence of the Du family in the Tang Dynasty, and judging from the description of the title, it should also be the hometown of friends. The poet sends friends back to their hometowns to live idly, indicating that their previous lives were relatively busy, and later because of some unpredictable things, their friends returned to their hometowns and lived in seclusion and enjoyed a leisurely and relaxed life.
Friends have been away from home for many years, and this time they returned home with books and swords, although they were unwilling, but it was a great joy in life to be reunited with their relatives. In ancient times, it was difficult to hear, and friends did not know the situation of their parents, wives and children at home, and if they learned that they were about to return, they would be looking forward to it.
Just as the so-called homesickness is more timid, friends have trekked all the way, and when they see that they are about to approach the village, they must have a thousand feelings in their hearts. However, the poet does not mention these trifles, and the jaw link only describes the scenes that friends may encounter on the way. "Moss invaded the rock under the road, the fruit fell in the cave in the spring", just 10 words, but the image is rich, moss, rocks, paths, wild fruits, caves, clear springs, the other party seems to have come to a fairyland, full of magical imagination.
The neck link describes the situation of the other party returning home, next to the elegant study, the autumn rain is gusting, the autumn leaves are like fire; in the winding corridor, light smoke and green lotus are everywhere. The poet reads and creates in such a quiet atmosphere, watches the rain and admires the autumn, and the mood must be relaxed and comfortable.
The ending is even more intriguing, with the author depicting a long journey and a gallop forward. And who the wanderer on the horse is, the author did not explain. The reader should guess that he is the author himself, but it may also refer to those who are walking on thin ice in the rough journey. The word "Taihang" is also a fictitious character, which refers to the steep and winding path of the generation, and symbolizes the extremely difficult road of life.
