Lao She: New Year, turn the carnival into contemplation

Lao She: New Year, turn the carnival into contemplation

Time is the most vicious, it does not give up to anyone for a second, and the past second is never redeemable. Man, then, loses his life because he has lost time! If there is a day, time can issue a pardon, saying, "Poor people, I will give you a few days off!" In these few days, the report of the clock, and the rise and fall of the sun and the moon, do not count! You can be free, have fun or sleep at will, and I don't count these days in the account! "How good is that! In these few days, we spent time, and time did not keep an account for us! These few days will never become the past, we don't have to worry about living, and our eyes don't have to sneak the clock and the shadow of the sun!

But time will never give such a pardon! Yesterday's sunrise always belongs to yesterday! Yesterday has accumulated enough, and we have no tomorrow! When the doctor held the watch to diagnose my pulse, I always thought that he was silently counting my death date!

Especially in the New Year, although auspicious words are buzzing in our ears, we have actually lost another year; in the lost year, what have we done to make our memories sweet?

New Year's Day, in this way, may make us turn the carnival into contemplation, but contemplation is not a very bad thing. Time settles the account for us, and we have to settle the account with ourselves! Only by settling accounts with ourselves can we really plan to make plans. We cannot intercede with time, it is selfless in iron, and we will not let anyone be inch by inch; we must fight against time and teach time not to sneak past; we cannot teach one minute to become two minutes, but we can indeed use one minute as one minute; if we do one more minute, we will really live one more minute; this is wishful thinking! The biggest regret is to let yesterday pass in vain: we lost another twenty-four hours, and those twenty-four hours were a blank! If we have many such blanks, we have no history. History is not just a timeline, but also a record of the activities of life.

"Waiting" is tantamount to suicide, we wait for opportunities, inspirations, things, and time does not wait for us! Wait a little longer and we'll die a little longer. The brave do not wait, but run ahead of time. We waited for the day of peace to fall from the sky, and we could only be disappointed.

In the case of a middle-aged man, I'm sure no one suspects that I'm deliberately trying to scare people. The next step in middle age is old age; I don't know how many more years I can live, but I do know how much time I've lost; I can't say that my past is a blank space because I've written some books; but I can't deny that I've wasted time on small things that are not good, and that I haven't been able to write more.

Do I regret it? certain! But regret is only a kind of masturbation and forgiveness, and if there is no more positive decision to accompany, I think: I must at least not be complacent about past efforts, and bury myself in memory; I must regard today as today, not as an appendage of yesterday, and today's labor is my glory; and it is a shame to show my achievements yesterday. Moreover, yesterday's results may not be good, and complacency is self-abandonment. Only today's efforts are enough to increase glory, if yesterday's achievements are not bad; only today's efforts are enough to brush away yesterday's shame, if yesterday's results are not good.

Let us all nail ourselves to the cross of time! We must all die, and may our deaths not have given up a minute of sacrifice, rather than allowing time to push us from one blank to another!

The New Year is here again! I really don't want to say those deceitful auspicious words!

On the contrary, I would like us all to meditate for a while, thinking about what has been done in the past year, and how well it has been done. If only we could blame ourselves for the New Year, or it would be better than accepting auspicious words with a straight face! If we refuse to blame ourselves, time will give us the greatest punishment, and it will teach us to die in vain! We look down on time, and time looks down on us even more!
