The Tesla Model 3/Y will introduce a strange feature: if the seat is adjusted, it will be banned

Tesla recently began installing new seat motors in some of its Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, in addition to installing seats from Chinese manufacturers and in-house manufacturing. The new motors come from Brose, a 110-year-old German company that supplies a large number of components to the automotive industry.

IT House understands that for cars with Brose seat motors installed, if the user adjusts the seat too much, this function will warn the user: "The seat rail motor cannot be used due to overuse" and "Wait 5 minutes to adjust the seat to track the position again".

If you do not heed the warning, the system disables the seat control function.

@greentheonly said they discovered the new feature while scanning Tesla's latest firmware version, which has not yet been released in any widely available version because it comes from a factory version installed on a new car in the factory.
