Financial Associated Press, February 1, Apple's smartphone business in the European market in 2021 increased by 25% year-on-year, and by December 2021 in the region to hit a record high market share.
Last year, the iPhone maker's smartphone market share surpassed Samsung's in Europe twice. According to a new report from Counterpoint Research, Apple started and ended the year as the region's largest smartphone maker.
Apple's total Market Share in Europe as a whole in 2021 is 26%, up from 22% in 2020. In 2021, Samsung's market share was slightly higher, at 32 percent, though Apple's total market share at the end of the year was 33 percent — the highest share in Europe to date.
