In the "2021 Patent Index Report" recently released by the European Patent Office (EPO), Huawei applied for a total of 3544 patents, becoming the company with the most patent applications in Europe in 2021.
According to BusinessKorea, the number of new patent applications filed by Huawei in Europe is rising every year. In 2020, it was 3113, and more than 300 were added in 2021. In addition to Europe, Huawei's position in patent filings in China (No. 1) and the United States (No. 5) is also consolidating.

According to the IPlytics report, Huawei was rated as one of the most effective 5G patents in the world, with a share of 15.93%. In 2020, the Capital on Tap survey of the world's most innovative technology companies ranked Huawei at the top of the list for the second consecutive year.
