After the successful launch of Yixuan MAX, Dongfeng Fengshen is also based on the advanced modular architecture of Dongfeng Group's DSMA, the second model and the first SUV: Haoji will debut in March and is scheduled to be launched in the second half of the year.
The new car is positioned as a medium-sized SUV, and its overall shape is still based on the latest family design of Fengshen, in which the front and rear LED headlights are highly recognizable after being lit. The side lines are sleek and feature sleek design elements such as suspended roofs. In addition, the wide vertical tailgate shape ensures that the car has excellent trunk space.
Haoji will be powered by Mach, available in fuel version and HEV version, with the former having a maximum power of 140kW and a maximum torque of 300 Nm, while the latter is equipped with an MHD hybrid engine with integrated deep friction reduction technology and a high power density ternary core. The vehicle's BMS battery management system enables rapid heating up at very low temperatures. The new car adopts ITM integrated intelligent thermal management technology, which increases the oil heating speed by 30%, the heating speed by 20%, and the time for the warm air outlet temperature to reach 40 degrees is reduced by 22%.
Thanks to DSMA's advanced modular architecture, the weight of the front and rear bodies of Haoji is infinitely close to the layout of 50:50, so that the vehicle has better dynamic performance. In addition, the A-pillar and B-pillar of the car are completely made of 2000MPa hot-formed steel, which can maintain sufficient strength and toughness even at temperatures above -70 °C. Haoji's ESC body stabilization system covers the operating temperature of -40 degrees to 120 degrees, ensuring that the system can perform stably in extreme cold and heat.
Previously, Dongfeng Fengshen released its 2021 sales results, and its annual sales volume was 121,570 units, an increase of 73% year-on-year, successfully exceeding the previously set sales target of 120,000 vehicles. The launch of Haoji will further strengthen DSMA's advanced modular architecture and Mach power, and its good product strength will also become a sales guarantee in the new year.
