A few days ago, Volkswagen Kanche learned from WEILAI officials that the first batch of production line verification samples of Weilai ET5 were officially rolled off the production line in Hefei. Weilai said that this is an important part of the engineering verification and car-building stage.
At this stage, ET5 has launched a full range of testing and verification work, mainly to complete the three tasks of optimizing the production line process, verifying the functional integrity of the vehicle, and verifying the attributes and performance of the vehicle. Through the small batch trial production of complete vehicle prototypes, the assembly process of the production line will be gradually adjusted to the optimal state, laying a solid foundation for the mass production of ET5.
At NIO Day 2021, NIO ET5 was officially released, and the new car is positioned as a coupe-style mid-size car, with a starting price of 328,000 yuan before subsidies. If the battery rental scheme is adopted, the lowest price is 258,000 yuan.
NIO ET5 is based on the NT2.0 platform and shares the platform with NIO ET7. In terms of appearance, ET5 follows the simple design language of ET7, which is both elegant and vibrant. The powerful rib lines and daytime running lights give the ET5 a very sci-fi feel, and there are far and near light integrated headlights below, which visually create a strong impact when combined with a large number of straight lines at the front of the car.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 4790/1960/1499mm, the wheelbase is 2888mm, and the body lines are smooth and smooth, rendering a strong futuristic color. The wheel arch design concept is derived from ep 9, and the expanded shape highlights the muscular feeling. The E tail is made of through taillights, the logo is placed above the upturned ducktail spoiler, and the exaggerated diffuser under the rear bumper makes the rounded body a little more crisp.
The most eye-catching interior is that the whole series is equipped with frameless doors, electric suction doors, panoramic sky curtains as standard, and the whole series is equipped with heat pump air conditioning, seat heating and 12-way adjustment, panoramic images, high computing power, and the standard Aquila Weilai supersensitive system including lidar and high-pixel cameras.
