Until Wang Jun (Huawei's intelligent car solution BU COO) recently mentioned that "the Polar Fox Alpha S HI version will be delivered at the end of February 2022", the new car that was originally scheduled to enter Huawei's channel at the end of last year has returned to the public eye.

Yesterday, Auto Sankei visited Huawei Yintai store for the first time and saw the true face of Lushan in the Alpha S HI version.

Show car like "test car"

Delivery or postpone until June

The biggest selling point of the Alpha S HI version is the Huawei intelligent high-end automatic driving system installed on the car. According to the official information previously released, this car will be equipped with 400TOPS computing chip, 3 lidar, 6 millimeter-wave radar, 12 cameras and 13 ultrasonic radars.

However, the live inspection of the store is somewhat different from the publicity.

The HUD in front of the driver's seat can display the driving distance and navigation information of the auxiliary driver, and the exterior of the vehicle has three visible lidar evenly distributed.

This also explains why the belated Alpha S HI version in the store still looks like a test car.

Moreover, according to in-store sales, the actual delivery time of this car may be delayed by several months.

Huawei has set a sales task of more than 10,000 vehicles

Perhaps because of weekdays and the proximity of the Spring Festival holiday, not many consumers come to see the car.

Auto Sankei noted that in addition to the sales consultants in Huawei stores, there are also many brand sales from various Jihu stores.

Whether it is the M5 or the previous sales of the Cyris SF5, it is fully taken over by Huawei. However, for Jihu's products, Huawei's store sales are more about drainage, product display, test driving, and the role of "retaining capital".

"At the last step of buying a car, when the order is placed, Huawei's sales still have to find us to buy a car." A polar fox brand sales said so.

However, even if Huawei store sales are only responsible for the previous service, there will be a share. It is understood that Huawei has more than 10,000 Jihu models nationwide sales tasks.

And in addition to the Polar Fox, Changan's cooperative models with Huawei will also adopt the same sales model.

Huawei store will also usher in the third car?

The sales staff said that next, there will be a Cyris brand car in Huawei's new concept store, and the M5 and Alpha S will be sold in the same store.

And it is understood that huawei's internal car sales task this year is 50,000 units. Since the production capacity of Xiaokang's new production line can only reach 30,000 at most, the sales task of the M5 and Xilix new cars is 30,000 units, and the Alpha S HI version may undertake an annual sales task of nearly 20,000.

According to the data, the delivery volume of Jihu Automobile in 2021 is close to 5,000 units, of which the delivery volume in the fourth quarter increased by 41% month-on-month and 569% year-on-year.
