Therefore, he made a plan, pretended not to be able to walk, and wanted King Wen of Zhou to carry himself.
After Zhou Wenwang listened, he understood that this was a test for him, so without saying a word, he picked up Jiang Ziya and walked forward. It was only when he first got it in the wrong direction and took three hundred steps to realize it. After reversing direction, he took another five hundred steps, until he had no strength, and only then did he put down the Jiang Ziya on his back. The eight hundred steps he took made Jiang Ziya see his full sincerity, and he said, You have taken eight hundred steps, and I will do my best to assist you, so that your dynasty can continue to eight hundred years later.
Coincidentally, the development of the Zhou Dynasty miraculously corresponded to what Jiang Ziya said, the Zhou Dynasty really only existed for eight hundred years, and these eight hundred years were divided into Western Zhou and Eastern Zhou, western Zhou existed for more than three hundred years, and Eastern Zhou existed for more than five hundred years. If it weren't for King Wen of Zhou making a fatal mistake and going in the wrong direction, perhaps the history of the Zhou Dynasty would be a different story.
