During the war years, my sons and daughters of China heroically joined the army and served the country. Most of them threw themselves into the revolution as young people and practiced their commitments to the party with a lifetime of perseverance. However, there is a 7-year-old boy who joined the Communist Party at the age of primary school today, and at the age of 9, he actually participated in the Long March with the troops.
So what is the opportunity for a child to become a party member? Who is he and is he okay now?

Revolutionary family, bloody sacrifice
Xiang Xuan was born in Hunan in 1926 to the sister of founding marshal He Long. When Xiang Xuan was young, he was taken by his mother to fight guerrilla warfare, and when he was 4 years old, he would fiddle with a pistol.
However, in the unfortunate weather, Xiang Xuan's mother was betrayed by traitors, resulting in several children being arrested and imprisoned together. In order to extract information from her mouth, the reactionaries brutally abused Xiang Xuan's mother, He Mangu. But she never gave in, held her head high, and didn't say a word.
When He Long found out, he launched a rescue, but in the end it was to no avail. His sister died under the abuse of the enemy, and the deranged reactionaries even hung her head to intimidate our personnel. Xiang Xuan's children were rescued by He Long's eldest sister, during which they followed their aunt to continue the revolution, and Xiao Xiangxuan actually learned to shoot.
However, misfortune once again came, and Xiang Xuan's aunt was also betrayed by traitors and sacrificed heroically. When he was dying, he instructed 7-year-old Xiang Xuan to find his uncle. Fortunately, during the war years, the Red Army team was still easy to find, and Xiang Xuan really found Marshal He Long.
The smallest party member is not afraid of hardship
In the ranks of the Red Army, although Xiang Xuan was young, he also had a wealth of revolutionary experience. His mother and aunt both died on the way forward in the revolution, while his uncle was busy commanding the battlefield. At the age of 7, he probably already understood the hardships of the country and the hardships of his family.
He Long, seeing Xiang Xuan's efforts, also applied for a young man to join the Communist Party. After learning more about the situation of Xiang Xuan's family, the organization approved him to join the party. The organization understands its loyalty to the revolution and its support for the Party, and even at a young age it is not necessarily worse than others.
Just one year after Xiao Xiangxuan joined the Party, the Red Army suffered a fifth anti-encirclement and suppression failure and was forced to start the Long March. The situation was very dangerous, and the large troops of the Red Army began a difficult journey. Climbing snow-capped mountains, crossing the Jinsha River, eating grass roots, and drinking snow water, soldiers couldn't stand it, let alone 9-year-old children.
But Xiang Xuan still persevered, he endured the hunger and cold, even if he was sick, he had nowhere to survive. Not only that, Xiang Xuan also acted as a signal soldier who transmitted intelligence, and his small size was not noticeable, and he was easily hidden among the ordinary people. Moreover, Xiang Xuan would also use a gun, his brain was alive, and the task was completed smoothly.
Grow on the battlefield
In this way, the young Xiang Xuan gradually grew up, and unlike the children of today's peacetime era, he grew up in the chaos of war, without parents and playmates. Although there are also comrades in arms, they will still face the cruelty of sacrifice and bloodshed. At the same time, Xiang Xuan also became stronger and more sincere about the revolution.
In later wars, Xiang Xuan was always in charge of communications tasks and took on the task of transmitting information from the command. Marshal He Long also hoped that Xiang Xuan would undergo more experience and send him to the front line of the battlefield. Xiang Xuan grew into a predatory warrior in battle, and he was wounded many times, with as many as 26 wounds of different sizes on his body. Moreover, Xiang Xuan's right eye was blown blind in a battle, and the residual shrapnel remained in his body forever.
This year, Xiang Xuan is 96 years old, with a strong body and a good mental head. The old man retired with the rank of major and enjoyed a quiet life. As a member of the Red Family, Xiang Xuan's relatives sacrificed themselves on the road of revolution with a fearless spirit. As a young man, he was not defeated by suffering, but continued to follow in the footsteps of his relatives and marched into the depths of the revolution with tenacious will. It is precisely because of the sacrifices of countless martyrs that there is peace in China today. Their contributions to the party and the country deserve our eternal remembrance and development.
