Speaking of the theme of the exhibition, curator Chen Guohui said that first of all, "Daguan" implies that the organizers have comprehensively considered the problems and situations of contemporary Chinese gongbi painting creation under the overall picture and characteristics of contemporary Chinese gongbi painting creation, and deliberately selected young gongbi painting artists with typical representatives of unique creative appearance in the whole country.

Secondly, "Daguan" implies that the works of the participating artists are oriented to the realm of mastery and clarity in terms of creative thought or creative method, language and artistic conception, and have a unique appearance oriented to themselves in terms of creative path, creative attitude and creative style, so as to open up a series of drawbacks in the creation of contemporary Chinese Gongbi paintings for images and symbols, forming a clear stream and new force in the creation of contemporary Chinese Gongbi paintings.
