It has a rich cultural landscape and majestic natural scenery, and it shows the demeanor of "the water of the Yellow River comes from the sky", connecting the desolation and magnificence of Saibei, and also carrying the agitation of the famous city of Saishang from ancient times to the present.
Arriving at Fugu and visiting the ancient city of Fuzhou, we continued to go north along the Yellow Highway and went straight to "Shaanxi along the Yellow Highway 0 km" - Fugu Wallhead Township.
The Yellow River meanders from Inner Mongolia into the territory of Shaanxi, and draws a big "S" shaped bend, known as "Longwan".
Find the iconic stone monument of "0 kilometers along the Yellow Highway" in Fugu, and from here continue along the Yellow River to the north, which is the Jungger Banner of Inner Mongolia; On the other side of the Yellow River is the meanders of Shanxi.
After checking in 0 kilometers, we turned back, and it took a few minutes to drive to the Lotus Lane Scenic Area - there are big signs along the road, and by the way, the signs are driven in by a fork in the road, and spiral to a mountain platform, which is an excellent viewing platform overlooking the Lotus Circle.
Lotus Flower, a secret place known as the "pork belly" on the bank of the Yellow River by the locals, amazed us at first sight.
I saw the peaks and peaks, the red and white intertwined mountains and rocks are scattered, and the clusters are forested, just like a colorful natural picture.
According to the investigation of geologists, it is a rock interlayer composed of thick-bedded sandstone, argillaceous sandstone, sand shale and argillaceous shale of the Permian of the Paleozoic Era (about 250 million years), the Triassic of the Mesozoic Era, the Jurassic and the Cretaceous.
Due to unique geological reasons, the rock layers here are cross-bedded and mixed, usually in pink, purple, gray-white, gray-green, and if it happens to be rainy, the colors are very bright.
And the name Lotus has a deep relationship with Emperor Kangxi. "辿" means "slow pace". Emperor Kangxi passed through here when he quelled the Geldan rebellion, and was attracted by the colorful scenery in front of him. When he learned that there was no name for this place, he gave it the name "Lotus Lotus".
It is said that the viewing platform on this side of Fugu is the best vantage point overlooking the lotus flower. Standing on the platform and looking into the distance, you can also see the S-shaped bend of the Yellow River Longwan, the mountains and rivers depend on each other, who can not applaud this natural ghostly workmanship?

Walltou Township is located about 53 kilometers north of Fugu County, and it takes about 1 hour to drive by car. There are two self-driving routes from Fugu to Walltou Township, along the Yellow Highway is along the Yellow River, and the other road (forget the name) is through this Yadan landform, surrounded by this colorful scenery, it is recommended to go back and forth on different routes, the scenery is very beautiful.
The Lotus Observatory is in Fugu County, a few minutes' drive from the stone monument of 0 kilometers along the Yellow Highway, there are very large signs along the way, it is still easy to find, and the navigation can also be directly located. There are no tickets.
