Compared with the shaping of the building itself as a static object, we pay more attention to the dynamic experience of people in the overall environment composed of landscape, architecture and interior;

Compared with the expression of architectural formal language, we pay more attention to the atmosphere creation of the entire place;

Compared with abstract spatial concept speculation, we pay more attention to people's specific physical sensations in space.

The building was founded by architect Wuzhou in Dali in 2019, and the main members of the studio have been deeply involved in the southwest region for many years to carry out local architectural practice. Founder Wu Zhou graduated from Harvard University in the United States with a master's degree in architecture and urban design. He has worked in well-known architectural firms such as SOM (New York) and Urban Practice (Beijing). He joined Zhao Yang Architecture Studio in 2012 and served as a partner of Zhao Yang Architecture Studio. Over the years, he has extensive practical experience in the fields of cultural tourism development, resort hotels, boutique homestays, cultural and creative industries, and high-end private residences. His design works have been selected for the "GSD Platform 4" published by Harvard University in the United States. He has been invited to participate in the design teaching evaluation of hong Kong Chinese University, Singapore University of Science and Technology Design, Wuhan University, China Academy of Art, Kunming University of Science and Technology and other universities.

In the summer of 2021, we moved the studio to the edge of the field at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, Yitian Wangshan.

Dali is a city where we really have the opportunity to get close to nature, so we chose to move our studio to a place where we can talk directly with Cangshan Erhai. We believe that the environment is inversely nourishing for people, and in the studio under the Cangshan Mountains, you can feel the changes of the sun and the wind every day, the rotation of the four seasons in the mountains, the growth and change of plants in the fields... In such a working environment, the architect's own sensitivity to architecture and nature will gradually become stronger, and it is easier to make moving buildings.

But you don't have to worry about traffic problems, our studio location is actually very convenient, only ten minutes away from the Dali University life circle, the surrounding living and eating are very convenient, commuting to work and there is no commuting problem in the big city. We are not in favor of uncontrolled overtime, and we strive to create a healthy and regular quality life and work rhythm for everyone in Dali. After work, the studio will also organize outdoor activities such as climbing mountains and tracing the creek from time to time, and being close to nature in Dali is the best way to relax and decompress.

In addition, the inner courtyard of our studio and the ruined garden café are also under construction. In Yunnan, the yard is the best place to live, we also hope to first create a comfortable yard in our own studio, borrowing the way of the garden to make a new Dali yard life sample, here is not only the living environment we can enjoy every day, but also our most vivid architectural declaration. In the future, the ruined garden coffee located on the south side of the courtyard facing Cangshan mountain will also become part of the studio's welfare.

In fact, our projects are not limited to Dali and Yunnan, but have already begun to spread all over the country. I chose to continue to root the studio in Dali because Dali has subtly given us too much nourishment for life over the years. Although the work of architects is always too busy, and we can't live as leisurely as most Dali "new immigrants", Dali shows us the possibility of slowly connecting architectural practices and life.

Dali is not only the wind and snow moon and the blue sky and white clouds, many "new immigrants" in Dali are slowly discovering new possibilities in this open and inclusive land, and rediscovering themselves.

Dali, a remote corner, and the entire southwest region, compared with the first-tier cities and the eastern region, seems to have a natural sense of relaxation, optimism, wildness and tolerance, and is also naturally suitable for exploration and adventure, such a region is worth architects to take root in batches to explore the relationship between architecture and life.

1. Bachelor degree or above in architecture, more than 3 years working experience;

2. Have complete project experience, including a full set of construction drawing experience, and post-construction site cooperation experience, familiar with relevant building codes;

3. Have strong communication and adaptability, can lead the team to coordinate with other professionals to draw building construction drawings, and effectively communicate with the owner, construction party and other partners;

4. Working experience in a well-known architectural firm is preferred.

architect

1. Bachelor degree or above in architecture, more than 2 years working experience;

2. Experience in construction drawings, and experience in cooperation with the construction site in the later stage is preferred;

3. Have strong manual model making ability, proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe (PS/AI/ID) and other drawing software, proficient in the use of Rhino, Enscape and other modeling and rendering software is preferred;

4. Excellent professionalism and sense of responsibility, as well as teamwork spirit;

5. Working experience in a well-known architectural firm is preferred.

Assistant Architect

1. Bachelor degree or above in architecture;

2. Have strong manual model making ability, proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe (PS/AI/ID) and other drawing software, proficient in the use of Rhino, Enscape and other modeling rendering software is preferred;

3. Strong learning ability, sense of responsibility, willing to communicate, team sense and collaborative spirit.

Senior interior designer

1. Bachelor degree or above in architecture/interior design/environmental art, more than 3 years working experience;

2. Be able to fully understand the connection between architectural space and interior design, and be able to view design from the perspective of overall architectural concept;

3. Have complete project experience, including a full set of construction drawing experience and site site cooperation experience, familiar with various materials and processes of interior decoration;

4. Have good teamwork skills and communication and coordination skills, and be able to cooperate efficiently with owners, suppliers, material suppliers and other related professional companies;

5. Working experience in a well-known design company is preferred.

Assistant interior designer

1. Bachelor degree or above in architecture/interior design/environmental art;
