According to Huang Jiandong, at present, Meishan International Railway Port has successfully operated 5 international trains, of which 3 China-Europe international freight trains have been launched through successive ways, which are to Minsk, Belarus, Hamburg, Germany, and Łódź, Poland. Two southbound international freight trains depart from Guangxi, one to Chin Chau in Guangxi and then to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Yangon City, Myanmar, one to Vientiane City, Laos via the China-Laos Railway, and then to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam by road.

However, at present, Meishan International Railway Port still has problems such as imperfect infrastructure, lack of customs supervision places, and insufficient capacity for train operation. Huang Jiandong said that at present, there are 3 train stations in the Qinglong area where the Meishan International Railway Port is located. Among them, the infrastructure of the freight yard of the State Railway Qinglong Station is old, the logistics facilities are poor, and there is no container loading and unloading function; the length and infrastructure of the freight yard of Sichuan Qinglong Logistics Co., Ltd. have not reached the standard of opening international trains; the hardware conditions of Sichuan Public Railway Logistics Park are relatively good in opening international trains, but as a private enterprise, it is necessary to negotiate and cooperate with the company in terms of station usage costs and train opening time, and the government's autonomy is restricted to a certain extent.

Since there is no customs supervision place in Meishan International Railway Port, the goods cannot be directly transported to overseas after completing customs inspection at the place of origin, and can only be opened by means of a railway port with customs supervision places, or the goods are transported to the border port to complete customs inspection and then leave the country, which is not conducive to Meishan International Railway Port to build an international train departure station.

"Meishan Train Operation Company and team have a short time to form, lack of experience in train operation, freight organization, logistics arrangements, and lack of professional talents in railway transportation and logistics operations." Huang Jiandong said that the relevant teams do not have a deep degree of cooperation with the railway department in the construction of railway ports and the operation of trains, and they still need strong support in industrial cultivation and expansion of the volume of goods entering the port.

To this end, Huang Jiandong suggested that based on the positioning of the "southbound hub and northbound node" of the Chengdu Metropolitan Area, the logistics system planning of the Metropolitan Area and the Planning of the Meishan International Railway Port should be prepared with high standards, and the three-dimensional logistics hub of the southern part of the Chengdu Metropolitan Circle should be built into a three-dimensional logistics hub of "air, iron, water and air"; the commercial and railway departments should take the lead in negotiating and cooperating with enterprises in the Qinglong area, formulate a plan for the upgrading and transformation of railway lines, freight yards, and surrounding roads, and organize and implement them as soon as possible to meet the hard basic requirements for international trains.

In addition, Huang Jiandong suggested strengthening the docking and capital and project competition with relevant state departments; supporting local governments to establish cooperation platform companies with railway departments or other state-owned enterprises with experience in train operation to cooperate in operating international trains; promoting the normalization of train operations; and strengthening the construction of open platforms.

"It is recommended to support the Qinglong region to apply for the construction of bonded logistics centers and cross-border e-commerce comprehensive test areas." Make good use of the foreign trade platform to provide support for the construction of Meishan International Railway Port in terms of customs supervision sites and foreign trade import and export. Accelerate the layout of major logistics projects, key manufacturing enterprises and processing trade enterprises, and do a solid job in the integrated logistics distribution and distribution functions of Meishan International Railway Port.
