Construction of the first column and rail layer of Jiangyin Station, the largest new high-speed rail station on the entire line of the South Yanjiang Intercity Railway, began. Jiangyin Station, with a total area of 42,000 square meters, is also the largest new high-speed rail station on the entire line of the South Yanjiang Railway, and after the completion of the South Yanjiang Intercity Railway, it will be combined with the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway and the Shanghai-Nanjing intercity railway to form a large-capacity passenger corridor radiating westward in the Yangtze River Delta region.
In Hunan, the Changyi-Changzhou high-speed railway is in the construction sprint stage before the opening and operation, and nearly 1,000 construction personnel from various participating units are fighting in the front line. Changyi-Changjiang high-speed railway runs from Changde Station in Hunan Province in the west to Changsha West Railway Station via Yiyang, with a total length of 157 kilometers. After the completion of the project, it will achieve the goal of connecting all 14 cities and prefectures in Hunan Province to high-speed rail, which is of great significance to optimizing the transportation structure in northwest Hunan.
