On January 15, the Casa das Rosas Museum in São Paulo, Brazil, held an outdoor exhibition called "Renascimento" with mannequins.
365 dummies dressed in different clothes hung about 6 meters above a sidewalk. Created by artist Siron Franco, the work commemorates patients who died of COVID-19 during the pandemic.
The exhibition will run until March 20. Rows of dummies hung on the upper beams, as if they were dead, and as if the soul had ascended to heaven, it looked a bit maddening to look at the past.
"It's really interesting. I think art can transmit more ideas and tell us more answers in this very difficult time. Under the destruction of the epidemic, human nature still shines brightly. One visitor said.
