The past 2021 has been a year to remember for me. At the beginning of June, my son took the college entrance examination, got good results, and was admitted to a 211 college in the province. The family shared the excitement and joy of their son's gold list title.

In July, the local COVID-19 epidemic was severe. I put on my mask again at work, because I work in the mall, the traffic is large, the mall is strictly disinfected before going to work every day, and customers who enter the store register to measure their body temperature and check the itinerary code. Cautious, afraid of being accidentally infected that day.

At the end of the year, prepare for the arrival of the New Year. One ordinary afternoon, an ordinary mammography ultrasound examination, my heart instantly fell into the bottomless abyss. The results of the examination came out, and the doctor combined with palpation examination, and there was a high suspicion of malignancy of the breast. At that time, I was completely confused, and I did not believe that this misfortune would come to me. If you still have a fluke, will it be a misdiagnosis?

Like all patients, run to the Pole Hospital for further examination. Finally, the pathological results of the puncture biopsy came out, confirming invasive breast cancer and subarm lymphatic metastasis. Among them, waiting for the test results to the final diagnosis, the process of anxiety and anxiety in the middle is not much to say, and the patients who have experienced it have a profound experience.

From slow acceptance to final release, I experienced the most painful and long mental journey in my life. Next, let go of everything and actively try to cooperate with the doctor's treatment. Due to the late detection, the tumor is too large and temporarily does not have the conditions for surgery. The treatment plan given by the doctor is neoadjuvant therapy, which first undergoes four to six cycles of chemotherapy, and then undergoes surgical resection after the tumor shrinks.

After the first chemotherapy was done, he was discharged from the hospital to recuperate, and he also experienced a systemic bone headache, sleeplessness at night, loss of appetite, decreased white blood cells, and helplessness to go to the hospital to beat up white and other adverse reactions after chemotherapy. It's all over. In the past two days, my body has returned to normal, my spirit is particularly good, and I don't say that no one else can see that I am a cancer patient who is undergoing chemotherapy.

The road to anti-cancer in the future may be very long, and the process will be very difficult. I believe that I can face it bravely and fight against the disease strongly. At this moment, I just want to say that it is good to be alive!
