According to the data, there are 38 models of cars with wholesale sales of more than 10,000 vehicles in December 2021, of which 14 models sell more than 20,000 vehicles. Wuling Hongguang MINI wholesale sales reached 55,742 units, and then won the monthly car sales championship, up 73.7% year-on-year, an increase of 10,000 units compared with the previous month.
Nissan Xuanyi retreated to second place, with wholesale sales of 40,446 units in December, down 35.1% year-on-year and nearly 5,000 units less than the previous month.
Volkswagen Langyi and Toyota Corolla ranked third and fourth, respectively, with sales of 35,905 and 30,677 units, respectively, both slightly down compared with the same period last year.
The Tesla Model 3 performed well, ranking fifth with sales of 30,289 units, up 27.2% year-on-year, and winning the midsize car sales championship. The Toyota Camry followed, with sales of 27,195 units in December, the best sales level of the year, up 54.1% year-on-year.
Geely Emgrand sales grew steadily, ranking seventh in December with 24,589 units sold, becoming the most popular self-owned family sedan. BYD Qin PLUS sales fell from November, ranking eighth with sales of 24,287 vehicles. In addition, MG 5 sold more than 20,000 units, reaching 20,582 units, ranking thirteenth.
The self-owned brand cars with sales of more than 10,000 units include: BYD Han sales of 13,701 units, Geely Xingrui sales of 13,115 units, Roewe i5 sales of 12,818 units, Hongqi H5 sales of 12,020 units, Euler Good Cat sales of 10,685 units, Ben Ben EV (Ben E-Star) sales of 10,404 units, Chery Ant sales of 10,141 vehicles, Neckline 03 sales of 10,025 vehicles, BYD Dolphin sales of 10,016 vehicles.
The joint venture sedan with wholesale sales of more than 20,000 units in December also included: Volkswagen Sagittarius sold 23,479 units, Toyota Ralink sold 21,836 units, Buick Yinglang sold 21,407 units, Volkswagen Magotan sold 20,629 units, and Honda Accord sold 20,460 units.
In terms of luxury brands, in addition to Tesla Model 3, Audi A4L sales reached 18414 units, up 82.5% year-on-year; BMW 3 Series sold 14061 units, an increase of 8.4% year-on-year.
