After the accidental disability, Zhou Ying did not give up on herself, and she was determined to change the status quo that she could not live in a wheelchair and could not go out alone. So she collected all kinds of information on the Internet, insisted on strengthening her physical exercise in life every day, fell off the wheelchair countless times, refused the help of her relatives, and worked hard to slowly get up again.
After mastering the basic mobility skills, she once again boldly signed up for the training of the national rotational friends to rebuild their basic living skills, and carefully learned various life skills.
As a result, Zhou Ying reopened the second voyage of her life, while she lived her own life, she decided to use her life experience to inspire more disabled people to regain the confidence of life, and use her professional knowledge to make more wheelmates live easily and freely. She used the various activities she attended or the gatherings of disabled friends to try to teach the life reconstruction knowledge of her wheelmates, inspiring dozens of disabled people to regain their self-confidence, go out of the house again, and integrate into the social family.
In order to help more disabled people more professionally and quickly, she registered the Hanshou County Firefly Public Welfare Service Center for the Disabled and undertook the home service of 100 disabled families in Hanshou County. In order to complete the basic investigation and visit as soon as possible, she led several disabled people to walk in more than a dozen townships and towns in wheelchairs, regardless of whether the sun was hot or windy and rainy, entering the household survey, filling out forms, completing assessments, and formulating service plans.
Pioneering and innovative, active exploration
Zhou Ying saw that there are many disabled people who cannot be employed normally because of physical reasons, and also because of many reasons such as funds, manpower, and knowledge, they dare not start a business, resulting in them living at home for a long time and dare not go out, which has become a heavy burden in the family. She actively explores and develops new projects to create opportunities for people with disabilities to work at home.
With the Firefly Public Welfare Service Center for the Disabled as the main body, she visited more than 30 families of disabled friends in Hanshou County, from which she summoned some disabled people to the service center every day to process various handicrafts. In order to ensure the long-term development of these projects and let the disabled have work to do, she went to Nanchang, Changsha, Chenzhou and other parts of the country to investigate projects, visited and exchanged with the physical disability associations of various districts and counties in the region, and finally introduced projects that are convenient for the disabled to operate, such as mugwort processing, hairpins, and sachets. While helping people with disabilities find employment, increase their income, and improve their quality of life, they can find self-confidence and earn self-esteem through their own work.
In order to help more poor and disabled families in rural areas to increase their income, Zhou Ying used her own registered Hanshou County Firefly Public Welfare Service Center for the Disabled to mobilize rural disabled people to plant agricultural products (beans, eggplants, bitter melons... After the initial processing such as cleaning, drying and packing after ripe picking, it uses various forms of sales such as charity sales activities, WeChat circle of friends, live streaming with goods, etc., to increase the income of poor and disabled families while helping rural revitalization in its own unique way.

After Zhou Ying was accidentally injured and paralyzed, she experienced from disappointment to despair, and regained her confidence in life with the encouragement of relatives and friends and her own efforts, she is well aware of the psychological trauma and pain of disabled friends, and she pays special attention to the psychological care of disabled people with the same life experience in life.
While actively participating in the training organized by the Disabled Persons' Federation at all levels, the Disabled Special Association, and the Disabled Assistance Agency, she strives to take the disabled people found around her out of the house, and by encouraging and leading them to participate in activities, she strengthens their confidence and opens their hearts. Teach them the disability life skills they have learned in the activities to help them improve their quality of life.
A female rotator in other districts and counties of the city, in the more than a year after she was injured and paralyzed, fell into the confusion of pain, self-blame, regret, timidity and many other emotions. After being injured and disabled, Zhou Ying is well aware of the difficulties of the disabled and the families of the disabled, and she has not forgotten more poor disabled people while earning her own meager living expenses.
