Of course, in the military, there are still some female-only positions, such as female nurses in various countries, even in Japan, where the status of women is very low, a large number of women are recruited as military nurses, but these people are not military, that is, they are not considered soldiers.
In Japan, the hierarchy is very clear, even female nurses have to be divided into a grade, a total of 3 grades, namely A, B and temporary volunteer nurses. The difference between first-class and second-class nurses is equivalent to that of full-level nurses and quasi-level nurses in Japan today. A full-level nurse is a regular nurse who has graduated from the College of Nursing for four years, has a university degree, and after graduation, is awarded the qualification of the national and medical associations through internships. Class B, that is, prospective nurses, are generally college degrees, most of them are trainees who have attended nursing school for two years, and after obtaining a nurse qualification certificate, they can hold a certificate.
In addition, there are temporary volunteer nurses, of course, most of the nurses in the Japanese army are still composed of temporary nurses. The requirements for temporary nurses are not high, and the education level above primary school can be used, generally between the ages of 14 and 20, and short-term nursing training can be obtained. Prior to 1941, this short-term nurse training was presided over by a 2-year education provided by the Japanese Red Cross Society's short-term training. As the war expanded, this short-term training became a 3-month crash.
However, on the eve of the surrender of the Japanese army, direct training was not used, and it completely became the model of Lazhuangdin, for example, many girls who did not graduate from girls' high school, after hearing the order, directly went to the battlefield to work as field nurses. So this time it was completely chaotic, and a large wave of girls were ordered by the Japanese military department to be sent to the major islands in the Pacific or in the jungles of Southeast Asia. They had never learned to rescue themselves in the field, and they couldn't even bandage them to stop the bleeding. In addition to the female nurses who don't know anything, there are also barefoot doctors, many of whom are amateurs or students who have even finished medical school. It was under these conditions, coupled with an extreme shortage of medicines, that barefoot doctors and barefoot nurses killed a large number of Japanese wounded.
As the Japanese army gradually retreated, there were only two outcomes waiting for these female nurses. One was that, like the wounded soldiers of the Japanese army, the collective jade fragments were loyal to the emperor; the other was to be gathered together to satisfy the bestial desires of the Japanese soldiers who were about to fight the final battle with the American army, and they were raped in turn, and then they were either forced to commit suicide or forced to take up weapons to serve as cannon fodder, and in the end few were able to survive. For example, a "Himeyuri Ambulance Team" sent to Okinawa, made up of 240 female students in school, only 14 survived after the war.
