In 1913, Dr. Sun Yat-sen was forced to flee to Japan after the failure of the "Second Revolution". He concluded that the lack of unity within the revolutionary party was the main reason for its failure, so he decided to rebuild the new party and re-establish the party constitution to unite the revolutionary forces. The name of this new party is the "Chinese Revolutionary Party."
Because of some details of the founding of the party, Sun Yat-sen had a conflict with the Huang Xing faction, the elder of the League, and after the dispute, Huang Xing and others fled, and Sun Yat-sen was left with only Chen Qimei, Xu Chongzhi and others, and it was urgent to select a number of trustworthy and buildable materials.
Due to the influence of his eldest brother Chen Qimei, Chiang Kai-shek soon joined the Chinese Revolutionary Party and became one of the first people to join the party. Chen Qimei also always had the intention of promoting this brother, and when discussing the domestic situation and revolutionary strategy with Sun Yat-sen, he would intentionally or unintentionally mention Chiang Kai-shek, and repeatedly praised him.
Chiang Kai-shek's active participation in the Chinese Revolutionary Party at a difficult time in the revolution also attracted the attention of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Soon, Chen Qimei sent a telegram to Chiang Kai-shek, asking him to come to Japan as soon as possible.
In a small Japanese-style courtyard, Chiang Kai-shek finally got his wish and was received by Dr. Sun Yat-sen. For this day, Chiang Kai-shek made meticulous preparations and specially changed into the uniform of the non-commissioned officer school.
Seeing Chiang Kai-shek, who was wearing a uniform and quite an officer's demeanor, Sun Yat-sen had a good impression of him, and after some conversation, he added a little favor. This summons became a crucial opportunity in Chiang Kai-shek's life, and this photograph was also treasured by him throughout his life.
