In the last years of the Qing Dynasty, the soldiers were in trouble, and the people who were already living in hardship were even more precarious, and in order to maintain their livelihood, many ordinary families raised their daughters as boys - going to the land and doing farm work. Hong Wenguo is no exception, in the years of labor, Hong Wenguo developed a strong physique, tenacious spirit - which also laid the foundation for her to do something vigorous later.
In the year of marriage, Hong Wenguo was promised to a local family with the surname zhao, after which her name was preceded by the surname of her husband's family and became Zhao Hongwenguo.
Time flew for decades, to 1931, when Zhao Hongwenguo was 50 years old, and on September 18 of that year, the Japanese invaders launched the September 18 Incident and merged the three eastern provinces. This year, countless patriotic soldiers and civilians from all over the northeast rose up to resist Japanese colonial rule.
Although Zhao Hongwenguo was a female streamer and had never read a book, the national righteousness was deeply imprinted in her heart, and then, she threw herself into the torrent of resistance against the Japanese invaders, in order to call on more people to fight against the Japanese devils, she founded the Zhao Jiabao Primary School in her hometown, spread progressive ideas, and did not become a slave to the country.
As the Japanese intensified their oppression in the three eastern provinces, after a period of time, Zhao Hongwenguo believed that it was not enough to rely on education alone, and that he must take up the barrel of a gun to drive the Japanese devils out of the country. Therefore, she spent half a lifetime of hard work, taking the school as the base and working with her son Zhao Tong to create the anti-Japanese organization "Young Iron Blood army". As for guns, ammunition and living materials, he also obtained them through the sale of property.
In order to boost morale and play a pioneering role, Zhao Hongwenguo also let his son Zhao Tong teach shooting skills, and it has to be said that Zhao Hongwenguo was born with a talent for shooting, she not only practiced accurate marksmanship, but also mastered a special skill - double gun shooting. Double gun shooting, this scene, we often see in film and television dramas, looks very simple, in fact, it is more difficult, because the pistol itself has a certain recoil, extremely test the coordination of the gun holder. Zhao Hongwenguo's ability to shoot with two guns is quite powerful, and in practice, she has achieved the effect of a hundred shots, and from this, she has also gained the prestige of "old lady with two guns".
After the Japanese devils learned of Zhao Hongwenguo's deeds, they immediately sent troops to surround and suppress them, fortunately, she got the news in advance and evacuated everyone safely, but her family property was burned by the devils.
The sudden setback did not frighten Zhao Hongwenguo, but on the contrary aroused her determination to resist the Japanese devils; she not only actively trained the team, but also posted leaflets in the Japanese theater, calling on the Chinese people to resist Japanese imperialism. Then, the devils imposed a "three-plate axe" on the old lady -- coercion, inducement, and heavy punishment.
In the face of the fierce and vicious devils, Zhao Hongwenguo did not yield, and she not only rebuked the devils and traitors, but also prepared for sacrifice, fortunately, before the execution, she escaped from prison, and incidentally rescued her family and blind dates. As for how she escaped from danger, it is unknown, but it also added to her sense of mystery, and her reputation was even greater.
After escaping from death, Zhao Hongwenguo and Zhao Dong began to fight with the young predatory army and the devils, and in just a few years, through ambushes, knocking sticks, night raids and other combat methods, they launched more than 300 large and small battles with the Japanese puppet army, killing and wounding more than 4,000 Japanese puppet troops. This is an impressive achievement, and the puppet army traitors heard the name of the "old lady with two guns" and were frightened and scattered.
On July 7, 1937, after the outbreak of the All-out War of Resistance, Zhao Hongwenguo and Zhao Tong organized the "North China National Anti-Japanese Army", which not only broke through the Second Model Prison in Peiping, released thousands of prisoners, but also shot down a Japanese fighter. Zhao Hongwenguo is thus famous throughout the country. Even the Americans have promoted it. With this, the strength of this civilian anti-Japanese contingent has grown day by day, and its scale has also been expanded, and at its peak, the total strength of the team has reached 20,000 people.
Zhao Hongwenguo has a strong personality, in order to boost morale, she has not been behind the command of the overall situation, many times, she personally came to the front line, playing a double-gun stunt, such as in the Qingbanling ambush battle, she took the lead in firing, two guns fired at the same time, 6 bullets accurately hit a Japanese squad leader. Encouraged by her, her men opened fire together to eliminate more than 70 Japanese troops. This battle is only the epitome of the "old lady with two guns".
Zhao Hongwenguo's outstanding performance successfully aroused the doctrine of both the Kuomintang and the Communists, and both sides actively co-opted this contingent of strong and prestigious troops, Zhu De, commander-in-chief of the Eighth Route Army, and Peng Dehuai, deputy commander-in-chief, wrote to Zhao Hongwenguo one after another, inviting her to join the anti-Japanese armed forces led by the Communist Party. After receiving the letter, Zhao Hongwenguo agreed, and together with his son, he led the team to the Eighth Route Army, and their force was organized as the fifth detachment of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region. However, the Kuomintang did not win her over.
In 1940, Zhao Hongwenguo arrived in Chongqing to collect donations for the anti-Japanese resistance, which caused a major reaction, and Chiang Kai-shek also saw the value of it, so he personally received Zhao Hongwenguo, in order to win over the latter, Chiang Kai-shek did not send less sugar-coated shells to win people's hearts, and it was also a mention of sending words, and taking a group photo to commemorate the occasion, not to mention the top hat, Song Meiling also set up a double reed on the side, calling Zhao Hongwenguo a "national model for women."
After coming and going, Zhao Hongwenguo, who was topped out of the sky, underwent a huge change in her thinking, she regarded Chiang Kai-shek and his wife as confidants, and had a great appearance of seeing each other and hating each other, after which she and her son led the team to join Chiang Kai-shek and won the high-ranking official Houlu.
After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, 64-year-old Zhao Hongwenguo returned to Beiping and began to do business, relying on her previous connections, the business was doing well.
In 1949, the Kuomintang was gone, Chiang Kai-shek fell ill and rushed to the hospital, and began to mobilize bandits everywhere, hao jie for his own use, including Zhao Hongwenguo on the list.
At this time, Zhao Hongwenguo was nearly seventy years old, and she could have spent her old age in a good way, but in the face of Chiang Kai-shek's call, she actually went to Chongqing, and scattered her family wealth, recruited troops and horses, and tried to fight against the imposing People's Liberation Army.
She set up camp in a place called Sanhe Township in Sichuan and branded it under the banner of "The Second Road Jingsui Headquarters of the Southwest Anti-Communist Guerrilla Army". For the so-called "great cause of counter-offensive", Zhao Hongwenguo became very fierce, she not only pointed the butcher knife at the People's Liberation Army's task force, but also threw the fierceness at the masses of the people who supported the People's Liberation Army, and for the sake of Li Wei, more than 200 people died at her gunpoint.
Then, she attacked Shifang with a team of 5,000 people, but this group of rabble-rousers was the opponent of the People's Liberation Army, and before they reached Shifang, they were blocked by the 537th Regiment of the 179th Division of the 60th Army of the People's Liberation Army.
Seeing that the general situation was gone, Zhao Hongwenguo's fourth son, Zhao Lianzhong, carried her and ran into the mountains, after which the People's Liberation Army contacted Zhao Hongwenguo and hoped that she would surrender and reform herself, however, this stubborn old lady was not moved, and actually gathered the team again to try to attack Shifang again, the result was predictable, so she ran again, and finally, in Mianzhu County, was captured alive by Li Zuojun, the commander of the first battalion of the 537 regiment.
After Zhao Hongwenguo was arrested, it caused a huge reaction in China, and some people believed that Zhao Hongwenguo had made meritorious contributions to the anti-Japanese resistance and was old enough to leave his life behind, and even Premier Zhou interceded for her. Some people believe that Zhao Hongwenguo was a lackey of Chiang Kai-shek and killed the officers and men and the masses, which was extremely heinous and must be punished with capital punishment, especially the fathers and fellow villagers of Sanhe Township, who had suffered a lot from her, and requested that she be brought to justice on the spot.
Finally, Chairman Mao personally gave instructions: We must treat their families kindly, and all the families who have been arrested must be released unconditionally. Later, the "old lady with two guns" Zhao Hongwenguo was shot by the military law of the Southwest Military Region.
From personal experience, Zhao Hongwenguo is indeed a legendary woman, from the bones, she is a person who understands the great righteousness, in order to fight against the Japanese Kou, she threw her head, spilled her blood, gave up her family business, and abandoned her life.
However, her position and vision determined her outcome, and in order to repay the so-called "grace of knowing the encounter", she did not hesitate to make enemies of the people under the circumstance that the general trend had gone, committed numerous crimes, and finally suffered the consequences.
