In response to the party's policy call, Rizhao E-commerce Industrial Park has become a famous e-commerce development area in Rizhao City from its establishment to its development and improvement. Opportunities and risks coexist, and e-commerce has great potential for development, accompanied by the same degree of risk. In order to predict and control the risks of e-commerce and understand the actual problems and hidden dangers of e-commerce, members of the Resonant Practice Team of the School of Management of Qufu Normal University went to Rizhao E-commerce Industrial Park on January 7 to conduct field investigation and research.

Entered the industrial park for the first time

After early contact, Han Accounting of Rizhao E-commerce Industrial Park received members of the hometown resonance practice team, and then led us to the actual work area to understand the situation. Rizhao E-commerce Industrial Park has established an e-commerce industry chain with e-commerce as the main line, e-commerce enterprise park gathering as the center, development of e-commerce industry service platform as the focus, and emerging e-commerce and traditional industries as the characteristics of deep integration. Under the leadership of Han Accounting, we have seen the real production status of various types of e-commerce, especially clothing and clothing and cultural and creative products. The members were fascinated by the novelty of the packaging workshop and studio that they had never seen before, and after obtaining the consent of the staff, they took a close look at it, and the staff also enthusiastically answered the members' questions.

Revisit the studio

After visiting the production area, the members of the practice team further learned about the actual production status of e-commerce in the sector. Han Accounting led us to the management area and introduced us to the owners of the merchants and the managers of the stores. With our consent, we carefully reviewed the labels of the documents in the office bookcase, which contained financial analysis, the latest policies, order details, and much more. This bookcase full of archives covering all aspects shows that the actual operation of e-commerce is not as simple as people think. Shopping carnivals such as Double 11 and Double 12 have passed, but there are still relevant materials in the visible area. Members raised their own questions in their exchanges with relevant personnel: Is this year's Singles' Day sales affected by the epidemic and other factors? As an e-commerce industry in the new situation, where does its risk come from? Which aspect of its risk will account for the majority? Is it a business risk that consumers expect too much from the product? Or is it the technical risk of the various technologies used in operations? Or is it a legal risk posed by blurred boundaries of applicable law?

Learn more about the double-edged sword

E-commerce is an important driving force to promote consumption upgrading and brand innovation, and the development of cross-border e-commerce and the prosperity of online consumption have greatly stimulated social and economic growth. Therefore, the state vigorously promotes the development of e-commerce, sets up e-commerce demonstration bases throughout the country, and incubates and cultivates small and medium-sized and micro e-commerce enterprises. With the support of the national trend, low-cost upfront investment, simple entry operations, and high returns in a relatively fast time have made e-commerce operators increasing day by day. But as we all know, a big cake, the more people, the less each person gets on average, and the market of the e-commerce industry is similar. The increasing scale of the e-commerce industry has also provided various fraud teams with the opportunity to fish in the muddy waters of e-commerce merchants to a certain extent, and some groups have lost confidence in e-commerce. From the answers of merchant managers, we also learned that due to the impact of the epidemic, express logistics will be one or two days or even longer slower than normal conditions, so consumers are dissatisfied with merchants, score low ratings and bad reviews, and even complain more seriously, and the credibility of merchants has also been seriously affected. Other conditions, such as the loss of the courier in transit, the consumer return only the department goods caused by a series of losses are borne by the merchant. One or two losses may be borne by the merchant, but with the continuous accumulation of quantity, the quantitative change to a certain extent will inevitably lead to qualitative change, and the merchant will most likely conflict with consumers in this situation, which will affect the development of e-commerce.

Risk control helps the future

In order to cope with the hidden dangers and risks brought about by e-commerce, the relevant government departments have implemented relevant measures to further optimize the market environment for fair competition, further strengthen the standardization of e-commerce, and govern the integrity of the e-commerce field. Practice produces experience, practice produces true knowledge. Merchants learn from errors in previous orders, learn from them, and respond to them. Remind customers of express deliveries affected by the epidemic when they purchase, communicate with the logistics industry, display logistics information in a timely and accurate manner, and explain nodes that have been stuck for too long.
